When Hooters filed for bankruptcy and closed over 30+ locations, it was only natural for another owl to swoop in. So we partnered with Duolingo to hang "Coming Soon" signage across multiple shuttered Hooters with zero context or explanation.
Our handful of vinyl banners sparked conspiracies, theories, and rumors (language learning bars, hooters tutors, and more) -- ultimately helping us get earned national coverage and a response from the Hooters CEO himself.
